This trainer is an actual ECG instrument that is used in any diagnostics lab. This is a standalone instrument. This has all the features that a medical instrument should have, including safety systems.

This comes with DE-Fibrillatior protection. The ECG Leads can directly be connected to any volunteers for testing. If there are no volunteers, then an OPTIONAL simulator Model ME-3 instrument can be used in place of the volunteer. (Description of ECG simulator will be provided). There is a Built-in
Thermal strip chart recorder, which can be used as a hardcopy for record purpose. If enough diagnostic capabilities are available at your end, then this hardcopy can also be used for analysis purpose. This aspect provides scope better understanding for the student. Calibration facilities are provided for the thermal recorder to display the standard heights. The stylus position can also be set at a desired position.

A stand-alone battery is provided which can be used, when main’s power fails.An auxiliary output is provided on a terminal. You can connect this terminal to a storage oscilloscope for viewing, while the test in progress.The entire ECG scheme is displayed on the front panel, in the form of a block diagram, with suitable legends. Test points for all the constituent blocks are provided on the front panel for making measurements at all the stages of the electronics.
